From a couple’s first impressions to dating and all the way up to their engagement and wedding day, it’s so fun to remember all of their favorite moments.
Here are a couple of favorite stories from Jillian and Adam’s Love Story Magazine.
When did you know you loved each other? If it was a specific experience, event, etc. please share!
A: We went stargazing one night, and as we cuddled under the night sky, I told Jillian “I think I’m falling in love with you…” and the rest is history.
J: I don’t think it was so much a specific moment for me as just the constant feeling of safety and happiness when I was with him. For years around most of my friends, I always felt like I was “on stage,” or putting on some sort of show—I was the entertainer, the host, but most of the time I felt like I wasn’t able to show all of myself. But when I was with Adam, I felt more like myself than anywhere else.
Share your proposal story!
A: Well, we already knew we were getting married and I honestly wasn’t going to make an official proposal because we were waiting for the ring for quite a while. But I decided to get my roommate (and best man) to 3D print a white plastic ring one night and we went on a walk up around the temple. We sat in a bench and I gave my spiel, pulled this cheap ring out of my pocket and popped the question. The tears of joy were the best answer I could’ve hoped for.
J: I still have that 3D printed ring! Haha it was a good thing I had that one before the real one arrived, because I lost it twice (but found it both times!) so I got to have a “trial run” before the real thing. He lost his ring within a week of getting it (it fell out of his pocket when he took it off at work), so we got him a more modest ring for $50 off Etsy. I think it was 3 weeks later that someone told him the original ring turned up in Lost & Found, so now he has 2 rings…
What are some memorable/funny/cute moments from your wedding day?
J: I think the most memorable moment for me was as we were walking down the hall to the bridal suite before dinner and he squeezed my butt for the first time. My first thought was “Oh yeah! We can do that now!” 😂 He then told me, “I’ve been wanting to do that for forever!”
A: It was quite nice ^
